Experienced psychiatrist with residency and training from Eastern Virginia Medical School with over 30 years of clinical practice in inpatient, outpatient, consultation-liaison psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, telepsychiatry, correctional psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry.
She has extensive experience with outpatient and hospital-based behavioral health services, APP supervision, medical education, and leadership roles, including Chief Resident and Medical Director. Her background spans care delivery, team leadership, and clinical education in complex behavioral health settings.
Dr. Parmar is skilled in managing acute psychiatric disorders across diverse populations and treatment settings, including outpatient care, inpatient units, emergency departments, consultation services, telehealth programs, correctional facilities, and forensic hospitals.
In her current practice, she brings that depth of experience to personalized telehealth psychiatry for adults across Georgia, combining clinical precision with a warm, collaborative approach that helps patients feel heard, understood, and supported.
